The Arbeit und Leben pilot project defines new ways to tackle the problem of integrating companies into dual vocational preparation. Teachers have committed themselves for the first time as promoters/brokers to companies and the territory, acting as intermediaries between companies and students looking for an apprenticeship contract, facilitating them in finding a job.

Two tools have been developed: Guidelines for establishing and maintaining “School-Economy” Networks and for approaching and involving companies; a database for improving the matching between the demand of companies and the preferences of the students looking for an apprenticeship contract.
